The University Grants Commission (UGC) has initiated a scheme for skills development-based higher education within college and
university education systems, leading to a Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree with options for Diploma/Advanced Diploma under
the NSQF. The B.Voc. program, integrated into undergraduate studies at universities and colleges, combines specific job roles
and National Occupational Standards (NOSs) with a broad-based general education curriculum.
As a part of the UGC Scheme on Skills Development Based Higher Education in Colleges & Universities, Regional Institute of Technical & Skill Development Council (RITSDC), has introduced Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree with
Multiple Exits such as Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree under the NSQF in collaboration with UGC recognised & AIU approved Universities. The Program is focused in providing Undergraduate Studies incorporating specific
Job Roles along with broad based General Education.
With a view for a bigger bouquet of Programs in Vocational Studies, B.Voc Programs in Health Care,Hotel Management, Engineering & Management. Our aim is to provide adequate skill required for particular trade to the aspiring candidates and produce Industry ready Professionals.

Sharing is who I am, and teaching is where I am at my best, because I've been on both sides of that equation, and getting to deliver useful training is my meaningful way to be a part of the creative community.
I've spent a long time watching others learn, and teach, to refine how I work with you to be efficient, useful and, most importantly, memorable. I want you to carry what I've shown you into a bright future.
I have a wife (a lovely Irish girl) and kids. I have lived and worked in many places (as Kiwis tend to do) – but most of my 14+ years of creating and teaching has had one overriding theme: bringing others along for the ride as we all try to change the world with our stories, our labours of love and our art.
I'm a certified Adobe instructor (ACI) in Ireland. I'm also an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and have completed the Adobe Certified Associate training (ACA). And I don't just do Adobe. Remember, media is a very broad term – digital blew out the borders, so we are all constantly learning.
I've been teaching for 14+ years. I come from being a media designer and content creator – so I understand exactly where you're at now. I've been there. I love this stuff. Print, digital publishing, web and video. I can see how it all connects. And I can see how we can share those connections.
I built Bring Your Own Laptop in Ireland, New Zealand, Australia & online. I have a great team working with me to keep BYOL at the top of Adobe and digital media training. I understand business, I have one – so I know how important it is to get it right and make it work for you.

India’s Education System has been criticised for many years for placing too much emphasis on theoretical knowledge. Now, the scenario has changed with the introduction of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

B. Voc. programme Recognition
The B. Voc degree programme is a full time degree course. It is not conducted as an add-on programme.
The UGC vide D.O. No. F. 2-7/2014 (CC/NVEQF)/Misc., dated 3rd August, 2016 has recognized B.Voc. Degree at par with the other
Bachelor level degrees for competitive exams conducted by Union/State Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission or
other such bodies where the eligibility criteria is “Bachelor Degree in any discipline”.
Further, students with B.Voc. Degree are eligible for the transdisciplinary vertical mobility into such courses where entry
qualification is a Bachelor Degree without specific requirement in a particular discipline.
B. Voc. Programme is a skill development based full time 3 year (6 semesters) degree course with work-ready skill levels under
National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) such as,
(i) Certificate (at the end of 1st semester, NSQF level 4)
(ii) Diploma (at the end of 2nd semester, NSQF level 5)
(iii) Advanced Diploma (at the end of 4th semester, NSQF level 6)
(iv) B. Voc. Degree (at the end of 6th semester, NSQF level 7)
The graduates completing B. Voc. are expected to make a meaningful participation in accelerating our national economy by gaining
appropriate employment, becoming entrepreneurs and creating appropriate knowledge.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission shall satisfy the following conditions :At the RITSDC, To be eligible take admission in a Vocational Degree Programme, a Candidate must have to successfully complete the +2 level of schooling or its equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. Besides, Candidates shall also be eligible for Admission in First Semester of Skill Based Courses provided that:
- The Eligibility Criteria for Admission shall be as notified by the University from time to time.
- There shall be a provision of re-joining or re-admission to the B Voc in each exit points.
- A candidate cannot pursue two full time Under-Graduate courses simultaneously.
- The University reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.
